Rizz app alternatives: free, no-screenshot and desktop options

Tired of RIZZ's weekly billing or screenshots? Rizz app alternatives that are free, monthly, keyboard-based or work on a computer, plus cancel and refund steps.

The short answer

  • For free, use SmoothRizz's free plan (12 replies a day), Winggg's 5 free uses, Zirp's first 10 replies, or ChatGPT or Claude with a few of your own texts as a style sample.
  • To avoid weekly billing, Zirp and Winggg both cost $9.99 a month, and Rizz AI sells a $99.99 lifetime plan (prices as of 20 October 2026).
  • To skip screenshots, use a keyboard app such as YourMove AI, Hinge's built-in Convo Starters, or Tera Chat (ours), which reads Tinder chats in a Mac inbox.
  • Cancel a rizz app through your Apple Account or Google Play subscriptions rather than by deleting it, and at least 24 hours before a free trial ends.

The best RIZZ alternative depends on what’s wrong with RIZZ for you. If it’s the cost, SmoothRizz’s free plan (12 replies a day) or ChatGPT and Claude with a few of your own texts as a style sample cost nothing. If it’s weekly billing, Zirp and Winggg charge $9.99 a month. If it’s screenshots, a keyboard app such as YourMove AI or Hinge’s built-in Convo Starters skips them. And if you want to use a computer, Winggg, SmoothRizz and Rizz AI run in a browser, Zirp has a Mac app, and Tera Chat (ours) puts Tinder in a Mac inbox.

Below: how to cancel RIZZ properly first, the alternatives sorted by the complaint you have, a comparison table, and a checklist before you subscribe to anything. Tera Chat is our app; we’ve tried to be fair, and we say where others are the better pick. Prices were checked on each app’s App Store page or website on 20 October 2026, in US dollars.

First, cancel RIZZ properly

Deleting a rizz app doesn’t stop the charges; you cancel through the store that bills you (Apple or Google), not in the app. Google says plainly in its Play subscriptions help that uninstalling an app doesn’t cancel its subscription.

On iPhone (Apple’s steps):

  1. Open Settings and tap your name.
  2. Tap Subscriptions.
  3. Tap the subscription, then Cancel Subscription.

On a Mac: open the App Store, click your name at the bottom of the sidebar, click your name again, then Subscriptions, the app, and Cancel Subscription.

On Android: open your subscriptions in Google Play (play.google.com/store/account/subscriptions), choose the subscription, tap Cancel subscription and follow the prompts.

Free trials: Apple advises cancelling at least 24 hours before the trial ends if you don’t want it to renew.

Refunds: for App Store charges, sign in at reportaproblem.apple.com, choose I’d like to, then Request a refund, pick a reason and select the subscription (Apple’s refund steps). Google says that after you cancel you keep access for the time you’ve already paid for, and that in some instances you may be eligible for a refund under Google Play’s refund policies.

Which RIZZ alternative fixes your complaint?

Billing is the biggest theme in RIZZ’s and Plug AI’s recent low-star App Store reviews; lines that sound cringe or obviously AI-written, and screenshot hassle, also come up across rizz apps. Pick the fix for the problem you actually have.

If your problem is… Try Why
It costs too much ChatGPT or Claude (free tiers), SmoothRizz’s free plan, Winggg’s 5 free uses, Zirp’s 10 free replies Free, or free enough to find out whether an assistant helps you at all
Weekly billing Zirp ($9.99 a month), Winggg ($9.99 a month or $44.99 for six months), Rizz AI ($16.99 a month or $99.99 lifetime) Monthly or one-time pricing you can predict
“Unlimited” replies SmoothRizz Premium (from $5.99 a week; monthly and annual billing available) Its paid plan lists unlimited AI replies
Screenshots YourMove AI’s keyboard, Hinge Convo Starters, Tera Chat on a Mac Nothing to capture and upload
Cringe lines ChatGPT or Claude with your own texts as a style sample You control the prompt, so it can copy how you actually text
You want it on a laptop Winggg, SmoothRizz, Rizz AI or YourMove in a browser; Zirp or Tera Chat on a Mac Full keyboard, bigger screen
Privacy ChatGPT or Claude with model training turned off; Zirp, which reads screenshots on your device You choose what you paste; Zirp sends the text, not the image

Free rizz app alternatives

The most capable free option is a chatbot you already have. ChatGPT and Claude can do the same job as a rizz app if you give them context: three or four of your own texts so they copy your style, the line from their profile you’re responding to, and a request for short options. Our ChatGPT and Claude prompt guide for dating messages has copyable templates.

If you’d rather have a dedicated app:

  • SmoothRizz: a free plan with 12 AI replies a day, 12 pickup lines a day and basic style learning, on the web or iPhone. It’s the most generous free plan we found.
  • Winggg: 5 free uses in its web app.
  • Zirp: the first 10 AI replies are free on iPhone, iPad or Mac.
  • Hinge Convo Starters: free inside Hinge. When you like someone, it shows three tips based on their photo or prompt and leaves the writing to you. Our comparison covers it in more detail.
  • Tera Chat (ours, Mac only): the app and inbox are free, and its dating drafts work with your own ChatGPT account connected through OpenAI’s Codex app, with no Tera Chat plan needed (otherwise they need a Tera Chat AI plan, from $9.99 a month). More below.

Rizz app alternatives without weekly billing

A $6.99 weekly plan is about $30 a month; a $9.99 one is about $43. If you only need help for a while, a monthly plan you cancel is almost always cheaper.

  • Zirp: $9.99 a month after a 3-day trial.
  • Winggg: $9.99 a month, or $44.99 for six months, with a 7-day money-back guarantee.
  • Rizz AI (yourizzai.com, a separate web app, not the RIZZ iPhone app): $16.99 a month, or $99.99 once for a lifetime plan. Its site says you can cancel the monthly plan in one click.
  • YourMove AI: $49.99 a year on iOS, if you know you’ll use it for months.
  • Tera Chat AI plans: from $9.99 a month or $99.99 a year (AI Plus), cancel anytime. No weekly plans.

A word on lifetime deals: they’re only good value if the app is still maintained next year. Plug AI, once a popular RIZZ rival, hasn’t shipped an update since 2 August 2024 according to its App Store version history, yet still sells weekly ($4.99) and annual ($49.99–$59.99) plans.

Alternatives that skip the screenshot

Screenshot apps make you capture the chat, upload it, wait, then copy the answer back. Three designs avoid that.

  1. Keyboards. YourMove AI puts the AI in your keyboard: view a profile and it suggests three openers, or ask for replies in an ongoing chat ($4.99 a week or $49.99 a year on iOS; also on Android and the web). Smoothspeak has a keyboard too. The trade-off is giving a third-party keyboard access to what you type.
  2. Built-in coaching. Hinge’s Convo Starters lives inside Hinge, so there’s nothing to capture. It gives tips, not lines.
  3. A connected inbox. Tera Chat reads your Tinder chat where it already is, on your Mac. The trade-off: it connects to your Tinder account, which is what Tinder’s terms restrict (see below).

Rizz app alternatives for PC and Mac

Most rizz apps are phone-first. If you want a keyboard and a bigger screen:

  • In any browser (Windows, Mac, Chromebook): Winggg, SmoothRizz, Rizz AI and YourMove’s web app.
  • On a Mac: Zirp has a Mac app (macOS 14 or later) where you paste a message and copy back a reply. Several iPhone apps, RIZZ included, also run on Apple silicon Macs as iPhone or iPad apps marked “not verified for macOS”.
  • Tera Chat (ours): a free Mac app that brings iMessage, WhatsApp, Telegram, Instagram and Tinder into one inbox and drafts replies in your own texting style. You sign in to tinder.com in a private browser window Tera Chat opens (Chrome, Brave or Edge must be installed), and your Tinder chats sit next to everything else, with openers built from each match’s bio and replies drafted in your voice that you edit and send yourself. It needs Apple silicon and macOS 15 or later; Hinge is in beta and read-only, and Bumble isn’t available yet. Because it connects to your Tinder account, it is the kind of third-party tool Tinder’s and Hinge’s terms cover, so using it carries a risk to that account.

Tinder itself also works in a browser at tinder.com; our guide to using Tinder on a Mac covers the options.

What about Plug AI, Keys AI and YourMove?

These three names come up in almost every “RIZZ vs” search, and of the three, only YourMove is still actively updated. We checked each one’s App Store listing and website on 20 October 2026.

  • Plug AI. The original, Plug AI: Texting Assistant from Vert Media Partners, reads chat screenshots and suggests replies. Its App Store page links only to terms and a privacy policy, not to a product website, and plugai.app didn’t load when we tried. Search the App Store for “Plug AI” and you’ll also find look-alikes from other developers, such as Plug AI: Rizz Dating Assistant (Turbofast), RIZZ Plug: AI Dating Assistant (Erdem Bilgin) and Rizz Plug AI: Pickup Lines (Bekir Ogurlu). Verdict: the original hasn’t been updated in over two years and the copies are hard to tell apart; for a free Plug AI alternative, ChatGPT, Claude or SmoothRizz’s free plan does the same job.
  • Keys AI. A dating keyboard that the San Francisco Standard tried out in January 2023. Its iPhone app, Keys AI Texting Coach, no longer turns up in the US App Store, and thekeys.ai redirected to a domain-parking page with no product information when we checked. Don’t confuse it with Key AI: AI Keyboard & Assistant, an unrelated app from another developer. Verdict: we found no working version to recommend; YourMove’s keyboard is the closest live equivalent.
  • YourMove AI. Squip AI’s YourMove AI Keyboard was updated on 9 October 2026, a separate YourMove AI Wingman for Dating app sits alongside it, and yourmove.ai adds an Android app, a web app, a profile writer and a profile review. The keyboard’s App Store listing shows $4.99 a week or $49.99 a year. Verdict: a reasonable pick if you want suggestions inside your keyboard; if you want a YourMove alternative with no subscription, ChatGPT or Claude with a few of your own texts costs nothing.

Before you subscribe to any rizz app

Five checks take two minutes and prevent most of the complaints in these apps’ reviews.

  1. Find the billing period. If the App Store listing shows several prices with the same name, assume the cheapest is weekly until the paywall says otherwise.
  2. Work out the monthly cost. Multiply a weekly price by 4.33.
  3. Set a reminder for the trial. Cancel at least 24 hours before it ends if you’re not sure.
  4. Read what happens to your screenshots. They contain your match’s photos and words. Check the privacy label and description, and look for where the text is sent.
  5. Never give a tool your dating login or let it send for you. Tools that swipe or text on your account are the clearest breach of Tinder, Hinge and Bumble’s rules.

What do the dating apps’ rules say about rizz apps?

Tinder’s Terms of Use (effective 5 March 2026, §2c item 22) ban third-party apps or services that directly interact with Tinder or members’ content without written consent, AI included, and Hinge’s terms say the same. Hinge also bans content “not written by you”. Screenshot and keyboard apps don’t connect to the dating app, so they sit in a grey area; tools that sign in to your account are covered; tools that send for you are the clearest breach. We quote every clause in our guide to Tinder’s, Hinge’s and Bumble’s AI rules.

Whatever you use, the safest habit is the same: take the idea, rewrite it so it sounds like you, and send it yourself.

The bottom line

  • Cheapest: ChatGPT or Claude, or SmoothRizz’s free plan.
  • Predictable billing: Zirp or Winggg at $9.99 a month.
  • No screenshots: YourMove AI’s keyboard, or Hinge’s Convo Starters on Hinge.
  • On a computer: Winggg, SmoothRizz or Rizz AI in a browser; Zirp or Tera Chat on a Mac.
  • Before switching: cancel RIZZ in your Apple or Google subscriptions, not by deleting the app.

Frequently asked questions

Is there a free version of RIZZ?

RIZZ is free to download, but its paid features are in-app purchases from $3.99 to $99.99 (as of 20 October 2026). For something free, try SmoothRizz's free plan, Winggg's 5 free uses, Zirp's first 10 replies, or ChatGPT or Claude.

How do I cancel a rizz app subscription on iPhone?

Open Settings, tap your name, tap Subscriptions, choose the app and tap Cancel Subscription. Apple recommends cancelling at least 24 hours before a free trial ends.

Can I get a refund from a rizz app?

For App Store purchases, request one at reportaproblem.apple.com: choose Request a refund, pick a reason and select the subscription. On Google Play, cancelling keeps your access until the paid period ends, and Google says you may be eligible for a refund in some cases under its refund policies.

Is there a rizz app for Android?

YourMove AI has an Android app, and web-based tools such as Winggg, SmoothRizz and Rizz AI work in any phone or laptop browser.

Is there a rizz app with no subscription?

Rizz AI sells a one-time $99.99 lifetime plan, and ChatGPT or Claude's free tiers need no subscription at all. Be wary of lifetime deals on tools that swipe or send for you, which break the dating apps' rules.

Is Plug AI still available?

The original Plug AI: Texting Assistant is still on the App Store, but it hasn't been updated since August 2024 and lists no website. Several look-alike apps from other developers now use the Plug name, so check the developer before paying.
